Restoring the Houff of Ury

​The Houff Mausoleum is the burial place of Captain Robert Barclay Allardice and his ancestors. The Mausoleum is a grade C listed building. The Mausoleum is in a poor state of repair. The Captain Barclay Allardice Society intends to assist the owners of the Mausoleum to restore the building and the memorial plaques (including the memorial plaque to Captain Robert Barclay Allardice of Ury) by applying with the consent of the owners of the Mausoleum (The Kintore Charitable Trust ) for a grant from Historic Scotland for the restoration of the building and the memorial plaques.
